DIPLOMA : INTEGRAL SECURITY : SECURITY & SAFETY

Insecurity is a generalized problem faced by all classes in the present society and it affects both life and the economic and social patrimony of natural and legal people. The facilities of houses and enterprises offices have become real fortresses, the threat is imminent.

Terrorist attacks, extortion, kidnapping, assaults, frauds and emergencies are actions that happen on a daily basis and in any place. Their causes are various, thus it is almost impossible to predict their results, therefore some specialists have determined that insecurity is immersed in a big endless circle, where man is the main axis.

The importance of Integral Security for the protection of enterprises' resources and assets, and the boom of the security market in the world demands from the sector professionals a greater knowledge of the means, techniques, operative procedures and foundations of the security resources management.

The International Diploma in Integral Security: Security & Safety, with the academic support of Fundación MAPFRE of Spain, is shown as an option for those looking for a position of Manager, Adviser, Consultant or Head of the Security Department in companies, institutions or the public or private sector organizations.

To provide participants with modern tools, techniques and knowledge to allow the design and execution of prevention and protection plans from the integral security approach.

Directors, managers, heads, supervisors and personnel responsible in the areas of security and occupational health, who lead integral security programs. Also advisors, consultants, professionals, and people with professional experience in the field of security, or who work or are going to work in security direction and management in institutions or enterprises, will be able to participate.

Methodology is Semi-Actual.

Classes will be developed in three study modules, including explanatory sessions complemented with support material and readings, continuous formation under the e-learning modality (http://virtualupg.com/ ) and workshops with cases for the application of the courses content in real experiences.

Legal norms in Peru. The accident and occupational disease. Causes and consequences, fire investigation, accident statistics and accident costs.

Elements of protection of property and persons: barriers, access control, signaling, EPP, procedures.

MODULE III SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS **

30 hours of autonomous learning:

Management Systems Occupational Health and Safety

OHSAS 18001. Loss Control Program. Behavior Based Safety (SBC). Emergency and evacuation plans. Contingency plans.

Electronic and Computer Security and Safety Chain Suministro

Sensores, control and sensors, control and alarm signals, CCTV, Electronic Surveillance, Fire Systems, Access Control Information and Control Supplies.
